Here you will find answers to the most common questions you may have about the Investment Portfolio for Shared Prosperity. Find useful information about the application process, how to fill out and submit the form, and the general requirements your project must meet to be reviewed by the evaluation team.

It is a tool developed by the Ministry of Economy to track investment projects and provide official support in addressing challenges that may hinder their development.
Don’t worry. The information submitted to the Portfolio is confidential. Investment announcements are always made in coordination with the company and only when the company is ready to make them public.
The registration may not be completed if required basic information is missing, such as the company name, the investment amount in millions of dollars, the project status, the estimated start or end dates, or the country of origin of the investment. If you have any questions, the Portfolio team will assist you throughout the registration process to ensure you can complete it successfully.
Once you submit the application form to the Portfolio email address, the team will review the information and confirm via email which projects have been registered. If necessary, they may request additional information to complete the registration. The process depends on the quality and completeness of the information provided.
No. The Portfolio is a tool designed specifically for investor companies, so the information must be provided by the company and must include a contact person from the company. The investor company may seek assistance from a third party when filling out the information if desired, but the primary contact must always be the company.
A challenge is defined as a procedure or administrative process submitted to an authority that has exceeded its legal deadline for resolution and is causing disruptions or uncertainty for the development of an investment project.
Not necessarily. You can register a challenge even if it is not associated with a specific investment project.
No. Registering a challenge does not guarantee a favorable resolution, but it does help speed up the process, reduce backlogs, and reduce the uncertainty they cause for investors.
Information regarding the procedure, institution, level of government, date of submission, expiration date of the legal deadline, case number or identifier, and a brief description of how the delay is affecting the project.
Any questions can be sent to the Portfolio’s official email address. Submissions must be made using the appropriate application form, which can be downloaded from the “Submit Your Project” section or requested directly from the Portfolio team via email. Once completed, the form must always be emailed to portfolio.inversion@economia.gob.mx.
